ORDERING & PAYMENT

How do I place an order?

For L'Arbre Élégant Co. (cutting boards, kitchenware):
Browse our collections on the website, add items to your cart, and check out. Orders are typically fulfilled within 4-6 weeks.

For Log to Table (custom tables, furniture):
Email jeremy@craftedlivingllc.com or call (918) 888-6430‬ to schedule a free consultation. Custom pieces require a design process before ordering.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept:

  • All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • PayPal
  • Bank transfers/ACH (for large orders)
  • Business checks (for wholesale accounts)

Do you offer payment plans?

Not currently for retail orders. For custom furniture orders over $3,000, we can discuss split payment schedules beyond the standard 50% deposit / 50% on delivery structure.

Can I cancel or modify my order?

Before production starts: Yes, full refund minus processing fees.
After production starts: Custom pieces cannot be canceled (they're being built specifically for you), but we can discuss options if circumstances change.
Stock items: Can be canceled within 24 hours of ordering for full refund.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Do you ship nationwide?

At this time, we're focusing on local and regional customers in Oklahoma. We offer local pickup in the Broken Arrow area. For shipping availability, please contact us at jeremy@craftedlivingllc.com or (918) 888-6430‬.

Do you offer local pickup?

Yes! If you're in the Tulsa/Broken Arrow area, you can arrange to pick up your order at our workshop by appointment. We'll provide address and directions upon order confirmation.

PRODUCT CARE & MAINTENANCE

How do I care for my cutting board?

Daily Care:

  1. Scrape off debris after use
  2. Wash with warm soapy water
  3. Dry immediately (don't let it soak)
  4. Stand upright to air dry on all sides

Monthly Maintenance:

  1. Apply food-grade mineral oil or board cream
  2. Let absorb for a few hours
  3. Buff off excess

Never:

  • Put in dishwasher
  • Soak in water
  • Use harsh chemicals
  • Leave sitting in water

How often should I oil my cutting board?

Monthly, or when the wood looks dry and loses its luster. You'll know it needs oil when it looks thirsty—the surface will appear dull rather than rich and saturated.

Can I cut directly on these boards?

L'Arbre Élégant boards: Yes, but they're designed more for serving and presentation. Light prep work is fine, but save heavy chopping for dedicated cutting boards.

Log to Table end-grain boards: Absolutely! These are built specifically for serious knife work.

Epoxy river tables: No. The epoxy surface is durable for dining use but not designed for cutting. Use cutting boards or trivets for food prep.

How do I care for my epoxy river table?

Daily Care:

  • Wipe with damp cloth and mild soap
  • Clean spills promptly
  • Use coasters for extra protection (though finish is quite durable)

Long-term:

  • Deep clean with wood-safe cleaner annually
  • Consider professional refinishing every 10-15 years if desired

What if my board or table gets damaged?

Minor scratches: Can often be buffed out or sanded smooth
Deep cuts/gouges: Can sometimes be sanded out, depending on depth
Cracks: Contact us immediately—we'll assess and recommend repair options
Finish damage: Can typically be sanded and refinished

We're always available to consult on repairs and can often guide you through DIY fixes for minor issues.

CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS

Can I request custom sizes?

Cutting boards: Yes, within reason. We can adjust dimensions to fit your needs.
Tables: Absolutely—that's what we do. Custom dimensions are part of every table project.

Do you offer engraving?

Yes! We offer laser engraving for:

  • Names and dates
  • Short messages or quotes
  • Company logos (wholesale/corporate orders)
  • Simple designs or monograms

Engraving adds $15-50 depending on complexity. Lead time: add 1-2 weeks.

Can I choose specific wood species?

L'Arbre Élégant Co.: Collections use specific woods (olive for Provence, walnut/cherry for Parisian, oak for Burgundy), but we can discuss custom wood requests.

Log to Table: Yes! Part of the custom process is selecting the perfect slab for your project.

Can I choose epoxy colors for tables?

Absolutely. We offer:

  • Clear/transparent
  • Standard colors (blues, greens, blacks, whites)
  • Metallic colors (silver, gold, copper)

You'll see mockups with different color options during the design phase.

Can you match existing furniture?

We can work to complement your existing pieces through wood selection, finish color, and base style. Perfect matches aren't always possible (wood varies naturally), but we can get close.

What wood species do you use?

L'Arbre Élégant Co.:

  • Provence Collection: Olive, cypress, beech
  • Parisian Collection: Walnut, cherry
  • Burgundy Collection: French oak, aged walnut

Log to Table:

  • Black walnut, white oak, pecan, maple
  • Many slabs sourced from local Oklahoma trees

Where do you source your wood?

  • Tulsa Wood Slabs (our primary workshop partner)
  • Local tree services and property owners
  • Sustainable hardwood suppliers
  • FSC-certified sources when available

We prioritize sustainable sourcing and often use salvaged or locally-sourced timber.

Is the epoxy resin food-safe?

The cured epoxy is food-safe, but we don't recommend cutting directly on epoxy surfaces. Use the wood portions of tables for food contact, or use serving boards/trivets on the epoxy.

Are your finishes food-safe?

Yes. All cutting boards use food-grade mineral oil and beeswax finishes. Table finishes (polyurethane or epoxy topcoat) are food-safe once fully cured.

Is wood naturally antibacterial?

Yes! Certain wood species (including walnut, cherry, and olive) have natural antibacterial properties. Studies show wooden cutting boards are actually more hygienic than plastic when properly cared for.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Yes! We work with:

What's the minimum wholesale order?

  • Initial order: $500
  • Reorders: $250
  • No per-item minimums (mix and match)

How do I apply for a wholesale account?

RETURNS & GUARANTEES

What is your return policy?

Stock items: 30-day returns in original condition for store credit
Custom items: No returns (they're made specifically for you), but we guarantee your satisfaction through our collaborative design process
Damaged items: Full refund or replacement if item arrives damaged—contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos

Do you guarantee your work?

Yes. We stand behind every piece. If there's a defect in materials or workmanship, we'll make it right—repair, replace, or refund.

What if I'm not satisfied with my custom piece?

This hasn't happened because we work closely through mockups and design approvals. But your satisfaction is our priority. If something isn't right, we'll work with you to fix it.

How long is your warranty?

Cutting boards: 1-year warranty against defects in materials/workmanship
Tables: 2-year warranty against defects in materials/workmanship
Lifetime commitment: Even beyond warranty periods, we're here to help with care, maintenance, and repair guidance

Where are you located?

Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (Tulsa metro area). 

Can I visit your workshop?

Yes, by appointment! We don't have public showroom hours, but we love showing customers our workspace and process. Email or call to schedule a visit.

Who makes these pieces?

Jeremy Hubbard, owner of Crafted Living LLC. Every piece is handmade in our Oklahoma workshop. For specialized work like CNC engraving, we partner with trusted local craftspeople.

Do you work alone or have a team?

Currently solo, with partnership arrangements at Tulsa Wood Slabs for equipment access and some production support. As the business grows, we'll expand the team while maintaining quality standards.

Are you really handmaking everything?

Yes. "Handmade" means we personally select materials, design each piece, perform the woodworking, apply finishes, and inspect every item before it ships. Some processes use power tools and modern equipment (table saws, sanders, routers), but every piece receives hands-on craftsmanship from start to finish.

What makes you different from other woodworkers?

French regional storytelling (L'Arbre Élégant): We're not making generic cutting boards—we're telling the story of French regions through design and wood selection.

Transparent process (Log to Table): You're involved in every design decision. No surprises, no catalog orders.

Do you have an actual storefront I can visit?

Not currently. We operate from our workshop with appointments welcome. A physical retail location may come in the future, but for now we focus on craft quality over retail presence.
